On Thursday, April 30th, Brooks Kushman hosted its inaugural "Women Helping Women" networking event at the Susanne Hilberry Gallery in Ferndale to aid the endeavors of two local charities: Jackets for Job and Simon House. The event not only supported women-owned businesses (it was held at a female owned art gallery and utilized the services of a female caterer and sommelier), but also collected approximately 100 articles of professional clothing for local women in need.

Brooks Kushman Shareholder, Sangeeta Shah was recently recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal as one of its “Women Worth Watching in 2009,” a feature that celebrates the achievements and personalities of leading women executives. Sangeeta was honored as a woman of purpose who represents diversity within her sphere of influence.
