Matthew Jakubowski has a sound background in many engineering disciplines that he uses to effectively assist clients in prosecution and litigation matters. While obtaining his degree in chemical engineering at the University of Michigan, Matt drafted computer software as a summer job, eventually working as a software engineer in the field of computer-aided design. Matt also has a substantial understanding of database and network management. Today, Matt’s background serves as an invaluable frame of reference when prosecuting business method and chemical patents. Matt also holds a Masters of Science in Business Administration, further complementing his broad background. Matt uses the skills acquired while pursuing his Masters degree to help clients formulate intellectual property strategies, including managing their patent portfolios and licensing matters, based on their business goals and objectives. On the litigation side of the firm’s practice, Matt has assisted in litigation projects for many clients, including pre-filing investigations and preparation of legal briefs on a wide range of legal topics. Whether Matt is providing litigation support or processing patents, he always listens to clients’ questions and concerns to ensure that he meets their needs throughout the project. Honors & Awards
