Prior to joining Brooks Kushman, Lora J. Graentzdoerffer (formerly Lora J. Hesch) spent time studying comparative patent law and working for a patent law firm in Munich, Germany. While in Germany, she frequently attended hearings at the European Patent Office. Lora also spent time as an engineering intern in Germany at a major automotive company. In addition to these international experiences, Lora worked in the intellectual property management department for an automotive company. This gave her a client’s perspective regarding intellectual property issues. With these international legal and engineering experiences, Lora understands the international implications of producing technology in today’s global market. Accordingly, she works with clients to fully capitalize their ideas and inventions in the United States and beyond. Lora’s practice includes domestic and international patent prosecution, technical design consulting, client counseling, legal opinion preparation, patent litigation support and other intellectual property related services.
