Amy's practice encompasses a broad range of intellectual property services. She has been, and is involved in litigation regarding a variety of intellectual property matters, including trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights. Amy also prosecutes trademark matters and has developed significant expertise in the area of legal technology, in which she assists clients in developing practice management solutions that keep up with their evolving needs. Amy believes that responsiveness is key when it comes to the intellectual property needs of a client, no matter what those needs may be. Amy often assists clients by interfacing with project managers and administrators to facilitate the completion of IP-related projects. She also provides regular status reports and reviews outstanding issues with in-house personnel. She understands the importance of maintaining a solid client relationship and being able to anticipate future requirements in order to provide proactive solutions. Prior to joining Brooks Kushman, Amy worked in the intellectual property department of a major automotive company, where she learned first hand about client expectations.
