Brian Tobin’s practice focuses primarily on patent litigation and he has been actively involved in many of the firm’s cases. In addition to patent litigation, Brian has also prepared patent infringement and invalidity opinions and prosecuted patent applications. Brian feels that maintaining a prosecution practice helps him develop effective strategies for litigation clients. Prior to joining Brooks Kushman, Brian attended the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, a Masters degree in Construction Engineering and Management and a Law degree. Additionally, Brian worked for the Honorable Denise Page Hood of the Eastern District of Michigan as a judicial intern where he gained invaluable experience and insight regarding judicial proceedings.
